In Haven everything has been turned upside down. Everything. Audrey isn’t Audrey, Duke and Nathan hug it out, Dwight is sheriff… frightened yet? It’s a good episode, though, a much better premier than last season’s, which while much anticipated, was rather dry and old. This season you can tell everything is going to be changing, not necessarily a one-case-an-episode thing. To me, at least, it appears as if, with Audrey being someone else, that the whole show will be going through a metamorphosis.
Answers have been promised this season and I think they will come through the two newest characters to join the show: William (a.k.a. the guy from Eureka) and Jennifer. Also, did you know Duke has a brother?
I guess we’ll have to see where this goes. One thing I love about the show is just the general mystery that surrounds it in a kind of haze and that feeling looks like it will continue.
The premiere gets 4 stars from me, but I’m hoping this will be a five star season.

But.
I don’t like that it’s not taking place in Republic City. I really, really liked that setting for season one and now I feel like they’re taking it in another direction. Not a bad direction, but I don’t feel like everything in RC is wrapped up.
Anyways, there are several new characters (including a pair or very creepy twins) and I can tell this season will be focused a great deal on family, for everyone. Also, we get to meet… THE FIRST AVATAR sometime this season. Very, very exciting.
The premiere gets 4 stars also because I wasn’t really blown out of the water by it.
